Blogs are normally a free service of companies such as WordPress, Tumblr, Blogger, Weebly, Wix and more. Many of these services offer step by step instructions on how to get started or you can do it all on your own. We like to liken the whole process to being no worse than sending an email. Yes, it’s that easy.
Why should you have a blog setup? A great question. Sounds pretty good, eh? Well, imagine this: your search engine ranking will increase just by having and maintaining a blog regularly. That said, blogging is not for everyone. Whoever your business or organization chooses to “blog” for you, they should be a good writer. It’s important that if your blog is made to be informative, that it’s written in such a way that is easily understood and educates the reader. Likewise, if the intent is to entertain the reader, the text should be enjoyable to read. These things should be considered before committing to owning and maintaining a blog website.
